Helping out during the COVID-19 crisis

During the pandemic, SCD gave much needed help to nurses across the country by supplying laptops to children who have not been permitted to come into hospital to check their insulin levels.

This enabled families to upload their children’s pump readings providing vital information to the nurses who were then able to monitor the health and well-being of the children at such a crucial time.
